The
ultimatum given by Joint Niger Delta Liberation Front (JNDLF) to
Nigerians, warning them to vacate certain structures in the country
expired yesterday at 12 midnight and since then, everything was quiet
all fronts around those structures.
Just
as we promised to bring you the update on this trend, we can however
confirm to you that the JNDLF might have hearkened to the plea of the
Niger Delta Avengers who pleaded they discontinue with the missiles
launch as this may cause problem to the innocent citizens and people of
the Niger Delta. And to this effect, no sound of missiles was heard in
any part of the country in the midnight and at the time of filing this
report.
However,
we are still very much alert following events as they unfold. If there
should be any development to this effect, you would definitely hear it
